Team Malace Participates in the American Red Cross Blood Drive

Team Malace was pleased to participate this morning in the American Red Cross Blood Drive that is occurring nationwide to commemorate Patriot Day. Managers and Staff from Malace offices in Michigan, Tennessee and South Carolina rolled up their sleeves for a good cause; in addition, several Malace donors were asked (and agreed) to perform a “double red” donation to help replenish a critically low supply of blood products.

Veterans Coordinator Jessica Dues and Volunteer Events Coordinator Martin DiLoreto were happy with the turnout and the willingness of Team Malace to assist with this charitable effort. “We are never short on volunteers”, said Martin, who serves as Recruiting Manager for the Troy Corporate Headquarters. “When Jessica put out the call we had sign-ups the same day. I’m proud of the continuing support we receive from our staff and their support of the community in which we live and work”.

“Patriot Day is a national Call-to-Service reminder” says Jessica, Account Manager (Michigan). “Giving back to others is the least we can do to support our Service men and women, First Responders, Veterans and their families as they work around the clock to keep us safe from harm and I am proud of Martin, Lindsay Kibler (Receptionist), Amanda Gilbert (Division Manager-Memphis), Bryan Steuart (Division Manager-Charleston) and all the members of Team Malace for constantly “stepping up” and participating in these events”.
